Call for contributed papers and posters

A summary is required for all oral and poster presentations.

POSTER summaries may still be submitted and will be included as "Late Posters" if received by Monday, 6 August and will be published in the symposium handbook and USB of summaries (but may not be programmed within themes).

Poster abstracts received after 6 August will be displayed as "On Site Posters" on the program revisions board at the conference if received by Tuesday, 7 September. The abstract will NOT be published in the symposium handbook and CD of summaries but may be provided in hard copy by the author at the poster display.

Instructions to Authors

  • Summaries are to be prepared using only the word template downloaded from this website (see link below).
  • The template contains the instructions for layout and formatting of your summary and the short abstract which will be printed in the symposium proceedings.
  • Follow the link and instruction below to submit your summary.

Acceptance of summaries and notification of presentation format

  • All submitted summary papers will be reviewed only for relevance of the content to the symposium themes and adherence to the summary format.
  • Summaries will NOT be reviewed for their scientific merit nor will the English expression be edited, these aspects remain the responsibilities of the submitting author.
  • Summaries which are not in the required format or do not meet an adequate standard for English expression will be returned to authors for correction.
  • Authors will be notified whether their paper has been selected for oral or poster presentation by 9th July 2012.
